Terms of service

By commissioning a custom watercolor family, pet and/or home portrait or live event painting, you agree to the terms outlined herein:

  1. Payment:

    1. A non-refundable deposit of 25% of the total cost is required upfront to secure your commission. The remaining balance is due upon completion of the artwork.

    2. Payments are accepted via Venmo, CashApp, Cash or Check.

  2. Refunds and Cancellations:

    1. The initial deposit is non-refundable.

    2. Cancellations made after work has commenced may be subject to partial payment based on the progress of the artwork.

  3. Reference Photos:

    1. Clear reference photos of all subjects must be provided by the client.

    2. Any additional reference material or specific instructions should be communicated clearly at the time of commissioning.

  4. Artistic License:

    1. The Artist retains the right to Artistic interpretation in creating the portrait, including composition, style, and color choices.

    2. Minor revisions may be accommodated, if possible, during the painting process, but major changes may incur additional fees.

  5. Completion and Delivery:

    1. The estimated completion time will be communicated upon commissioning and is subject to change based on workload and complexity of the project.

    2. If local pickup is not available, the final artwork will be shipped to the address provided by the client, and shipping costs will be covered by the client.

  6. Copyright and Reproduction:

    1. The Artist retains all rights to the artwork, including copyright and reproduction rights.

    2. The client may not reproduce or use the artwork for commercial purposes without prior consent from the Artist.

    3. The Artist reserves the right to showcase the completed artwork on social media and portfolio, unless explicitly requested not to by the client.

  7. Care and Maintenance:

    1. Watercolor portraits are delicate and should be handled with care.

    2. Avoid exposure to direct sunlight, moisture, or extreme temperatures to preserve the integrity of the artwork.

  8. Liability:

    1. The Artist is not liable for any damages incurred during shipping or after delivery of the artwork.

    2. The client assumes all responsibility for the care and maintenance of the artwork once it is received.

  9. Acceptance of Terms:

    1. By commissioning a custom watercolor portrait, you acknowledge and agree to abide by these terms and conditions.
